Problem
For those stuck at home because of the pandemic, it’s been lonely, frightening, boring, and frustrating at times. People are increasingly relying on digital products to help them deal with the current situation.
Research Takeaways
Human Connection

People want to feel connected to their friends and family during these socially-distant times.
Mental Health

More people want to meditate during the pandemic to manage their emotions. Having a group to meditate with can be motivating.
Headspace Story
Headspace is a meditation app and their main mission is to make mindfulness and meditation easily accessible so that people may incorporate these practices into their daily lives.
Why Headspace?
Many people rely on meditation to help them de-stress and manage their emotions in these challenging times.
Everybody Headspace
Headspace has a feature called Everybody Headspace that allows anyone on the app to meditate in a live session together, which creates an invaluable sense of community nowadays. [pictured below] However, there’s also a desire to create a personal session for you and your group.

Method 1: Host manually adds people
Prevent people from joining random rooms. However, it’s more time-consuming and requires you know every person’s profile.
